As we follow the impacts of COVID-19, rest assured that the well-being of our visitors, staff, and community are of utmost importance to us. We are following the guidelines and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control, NJ Office of Emergency Management, and our local health departments to help limit exposure and mitigate transmission of the virus.

Lately we have been receiving many inquiries regarding access to our preserves, the preserves ARE OPEN for nature observation, from sunrise to sunset. We ask that you practice “social distancing” while enjoying nature by keeping a minimum of six feet apart from others. We ask that if you are sick or feeling ill, to please stay home to avoid spreading the virus. Currently, we are suspending the issuing of permits for overnight camping, fires, and all social gatherings. Please exercise caution during your visit, features such as benches, gates, fences, etc. ARE NOT being disinfected.

We will update our response as additional information becomes available and new developments occur. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these troubled times.
