Wildlife Preserves would like to cordially invite you to a free and fun afternoon at the main entrance to its Troy Meadows Nature Preserve. Mingle with neighbors, learn about the Preserve, provide some feedback to our staff, and share what events you would be interested in attending.
July 20, 2024: FireFly Night at Troy Meadows
Join us for an enlightening event that celebrates the lives of fireflies in all their luminescent diversity. Senior Ecologist, Blaine Rothauser, will give a brief presentation about the life cycle, history, and role fireflies play in the environment. We will then catch and identify different species of fireflies.
